In The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, I explored the transformative power of imagination and the courage required to choose hope in the midst of uncertainty. Set against the backdrop of war and displacement, the story follows four children who discover that extraordinary circumstances often call ordinary people to acts of bravery, sacrifice, and leadership.

I approached Narnia as a world where childlike wonder becomes a catalyst for growth. The contrast between the harsh realities of the outside world and the magic of Narnia highlighted the ways imagination can offer refuge, healing, and perspective. Through playful theatricality and moments of awe, the production invited audiences to rediscover the possibility of seeing the world through curious and hopeful eyes.

At its heart, this production examined what it means to grow up without losing one's sense of wonder. The Pevensie children are not transformed because they are fearless; they are transformed because they choose courage despite their fear. Ultimately, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe celebrated the enduring belief that hope, love, and sacrifice have the power to break even the longest winters and lead us toward renewal.
